2021 – Here we are in 2021 and it looks as though that it will still be a long time before we are clear of this blooming Covid virus. We can only be careful and carry on to be safe. I will still appreciate any photos you can send to me Mike Huntington at michaelhuntington43@gmail.com
JANUARY CALENDAR

January, the start of the year, I hope you all had a lovely and peaceful Christmas. I hope you have bought your IH Calendar, I know Lizzy ( details on the home page) still has some copies, so give her a call, remember all profits go to charity.

January photo of Mr Muir’s Farmall H. Mr.Ian Muir has a notable collection of I.H. red tractors and is in the North of England, near Alnwick, Northumberland.

Ian’s Farmall H (American Build), Ian purchased the tractor in 1997, it it a 1940 Model. He restored it that year and took best International Harvester and second best on field at the Northumberland Vintage Tractor Club Rally In October that year. (There is a picture of the same tractor ploughing in the Gallery) You will also notice a very interesting tractor in the background.

The photograph above was taken at Tractor World, Edinburgh. 2019. Ian was awarded the best original pre-1939 tractor, hence the rosette. The tractor is a Farmall F 14.
Ian took 10 years to purchase the F14 from the first offering to buy it. He has only had it 3 years, Bought in 2018 and it is getting renovated but there is the intention to keep it original.
It now is a working tractor, please see below.

FEBRUARY CALENDAR

MH Note 76 m.m. Rainfall for February , Somerset
Here already we are into February and the tractor is the B-275 owned by Jason Lindsay. Jason lives in Shropshire near Whitchurch, owner of a Land Rover garage. He has owned the B-275 for around 20 years and uses it for ploughing matches using an International B12 Plough. Jason also owns other IH tractors, details will be listed in future, but here are photographs of Jason and B-275 in action making a very professional job.



MARCH CALENDAR

MH Note 32 m.m. rain for March, Somerset
March is here. Spring seems to be starting. The scene for March comes from Mr, Richard Dunning, Richard is the Club Secretary and lives in Devon not far from Okehampton. Richard has an extensive collection on IH tractors and equipment. The calendar photo shows his 585 XL. Richard has quite a collection of IH machines, all are genuine working machines.

APRIL CALENDAR

MH Note Rainfall 6.5 m.m. for April, Somerset
April’s photograph comes from Worcestershire, member Mike Knight, his son Andy is driving their BTD-6 rolling in cereals. They run their arable farm using modern equipment but also use some interesting IH equipment where relevant. They have quite a collection of IH equipment.

MAY CALENDAR

May has brought us back to Glorious Devon, Mr. Eoan Wager is the calendar subject. Eoan contracts in Devon, being an expert with his faithful hedge-cutter.

Eoan is seen on a 634 getting ready for the IH club road run in July, apparantley the pipe is essential when driving a proper tractor with no cab. (Early form of heater)
